Tokyo International University, established in 1965, is located in Kawagoe City. The affiliated Japanese language school is located in the Shinjuku ward of downtown Tokyo, about 40 minutes from the TIU campus by train. Tokyo International University was originally established as an international business university, and has since become a comprehensive arts university, offering undergraduate and graduate majors in business, economics, international relations, commerce, psychology, and language and communication. TIU is equipped with state of the art multimedia and information facilities in order to facilitate its students, who can pursue a first-rate education.
